If you’re looking for a way to lose weight without starving yourself, you’ve come to the right place. We’re going to teach you how to lose weight with macros without starving yourself—and we promise that it won’t be boring!

You’re going to learn how to lose weight with macros in a way that doesn’t require you to starve yourself, and it won’t be boring. We promise!

If you’re looking to lose weight, but don’t want to starve yourself or feel hungry all the time, then using the macros approach might be right for you. A macro diet isn’t a diet at all, thankfully, rather, it is a way of eating that focuses on the amount of certain food groups in your diet.

Macros are proteins, carbs and fats. The are 4 calories per gram of carbs and protein and fats have 9cal per gram, being the highest calorie dense macro of the three

How Many Macros Should You Eat Per Day?

Now I’d love to give you an answer that you’re expecting, but in all honesty, it’s just not that simple.

When it comes to weight loss, a calculator is never going to be able to tell you what you need. It’s not that calculators are bad—they’re just not enough for what you’re trying to do.

Sure, a calculator can tell you your ideal weight based on height, age, and gender. But a Coach will also factor in things like your stress levels and sleep schedule, whether or not you’re eating enough fiber and probiotics in your diet, whether or not your stools are loose or hard, how many calories you burn through exercise, how much water your body needs each day—all the other factors that can affect your weight loss journey

When you’re trying to lose weight, a calculator is not enough to tell you what you need. Only a personal weight loss coach factors in things like your diet and stress levels or whether your stools are loose or hard. Our coaches even measure your nutrient intake after providing support and motivating you with customised plans of action.

I know you’ve heard it a million times, but it bears repeating: when it comes to macros, they’re macros the building blocks of everything you eat.

Protein, carbs, and fat are all macro nutrients, we need them so your body gets all it needs to function properly.

But don’t confuse them with calories—calories are a measurement of heat energy (or “energy in”), whereas macro nutrients provide the building blocks for other nutrients that your body needs to function properly (or “energy out”).

Lost you completely? We go over this so much more in the Group Coaching Program here

How To Count Macros

How do you know how much protein, carbs and fats you need?

The easiest way to find out what your macros are is by using an app like MyFitnessPal.

This will give you the breakdown of calories, macronutrients (protein, fat and carbs) and micronutrients (vitamins and minerals). It’s important to note that these apps aren’t always 100% accurate but they should be close enough for our purposes here today!

How Can I Find Out What My Macros Are?

Do you feel like knowing how many calories you’re eating has changed your relationship with food? What is your goal? How important is nutrition in your life? A few questions I usually ask my clients, or those who want to learn how to track their macros for themselves, what are some of your responses to these questions? Let me know here

You can head to the website and get me to calculate your custom macros here

Conclusion

Calculating your macros is the key to success on a macro diet. It’s also important to eat the right amount of protein, carbs and fats in order to burn fat while maintaining muscle mass. The best way to do this is by keeping track of what goes into your body with a food journal or app like My Fitness Pal!
